Watermelon 'Cal Sweet Bush' is a breeding breakthrough with vines that grow only 14-18" long and still provide enough foliage cover to protect the fruit. This 2019 AAS Winner is perfect for containers or small-space gardens. The picnic-sized fruits have a rich red flesh that is crisp and firm with a sweet, tasty flavor. Round 10-12 lb. fruits. Days to maturity are 90 days.
