Details

Calibrachoa hybrida 'Calitastic Indigo' provides a continuous profusion of lavender mini blooms accented with a white and yellow throat. Calibrachoa is best in containers including hanging baskets where it can display its fabulous trailing habit. Keeping plants wet can lead to root rot. Allow the top of the soil to dry out before watering again. Self-cleaning, no deadheading necessary.

Growing Tips

Calibrachoas are ph sensitive and need a well-draining soil. Typical garden soils are not acidic enough to keep Calibrachoas from having stunted, yellow growth. They perform best in a good quality potting soil such as our own Kaw Valley "Good Stuff". If you have problems with budworms (blooms and buds getting chewed away) we recommend Captain Jack's Deadbug Brew (Spinosad). It's safe enough to be used for organic growing, and we have seen excellent results.
