Petunia - Our Plants - Kaw Valley Greenhouses

Petunia

Petunia hybrida 'Sophistica Blackberry'

  • Unusual "black" color
  • Large flowers
  • Mounded habit

Details

Petunia hybrida 'Sophistica Blackberry' has large, rich near-black flowers on mounded foliage. Has less variableness than other "black" petunias, with little to no yellow striping in the bloom. Fantastic color in combination with pink, yellow, white or coral tones. Great for beds, hanging baskets or containers.

Growing Tips

If you have problems with budworms (blooms and buds getting chewed away) we recommend Captain Jack's Deadbug Brew. It's safe enough to be used for organic growing, and we have seen excellent results. We carry this fantastic product at our Kaw Valley Garden Centers.
