Details

Calibrachoa hybrid 'MiniFamous Neo Double Purple' has unique double blossoms of intense rose-violet and is well-branched and free-flowering with a uniform, mounded, trailing habit. Heat tolerant. Great for hanging baskets and planters. Be careful not to over-water. Allow the top of the soil to dry before watering again.

Growing Tips

Calibrachoas are ph sensitive and need a well-draining soil. Typical garden soils are not acidic enough to keep Calibrachoas from having stunted, yellow growth. They perform best in a good quality potting soil such as our own Kaw Valley "Good Stuff". For beds with typical garden soils we recommend the similar looking "Littletunia" or "Supertunia Charm" series of Petunias, which are not so ph sensitive. If you have problems with budworms (blooms and buds getting chewed away) we recommend Captain Jack's Deadbug Brew. It's safe enough to be used for organic growing, and we have seen excellent results. We carry this fantastic product at our Kaw Valley Garden Centers.
