  • Aggressive growth habit

Details

The prized Mentha spicata 'Kentucky Colonel' produces large fragrant leaves on robust plants. Wonderful in Thai dishes, teas, salads, or snip a branch tip for a beautiful garnish. Prune to remove flower heads and encourage new vegetative growth or leave showy flowers to attract butterflies. Fanstastic groundcover. Mint can be extremely invasive; sink barriers at least a foot into the soil to discourage spreading of rhizomes or grow in containers.
