Spindle Tree is tolerant of most soils except extremely wet conditions. pH adaptable. Withstands heavy pruning. Can be pruned any time but is best done in late fall. Prefers medium moisture. Evergreen shrub. Fertilize in early spring with a slow release fertilizer for trees and shrubs.
