Details

With its tight habit and dark burgundy foliage, Wiegela florida 'Fine Wine' makes a lovely spring presence. Does not have the tendency to split in the middle. Will re-bloom throughout the summer with a slight shearing. Weigela does great in shrub borders, groupings, masses, as a specimen, or in containers. Prefers well-drained soil, but extremely adaptable to other soil conditions. It is best to prune immediately after flowering. Fertilize in early spring with a slow release fertilizer for trees and shrubs.
