Calibrachoa, Million Bells

Calibrachoa hybrid 'NOA Raspberry'

  • Trailing habit
  • Abundant flowers
  • Blooms all season
  • Great for containers

Details

Calibrachoa hybrid 'NOA Raspberry' has a continuous profusion of hot cherry-rose mini blooms through the fall. Cascading beautifully from window boxes, hanging baskets and pots. Keeping plants too wet can lead to root rot diseases. Allow the top of the soil to dry before watering again. Self-cleaning, no deadheading necessary.

Growing Tips

Calibrachoas are ph sensitive and need a well-draining soil, therefore we do not recommend planting in the ground/beds. Typical garden soils are not acidic enough to keep Calibrachoas from having stunted, yellow growth. They perform best in containers with a good quality potting soil such as our own Kaw Valley "Good Stuff". If you have problems with budworms (you will first see holes in the blooms and buds, and about a week later, all the blooms are gone) we recommend Captain Jack's Deadbug Brew. It's safe enough to be used for organic growing, and we have seen excellent results. Treat as soon as you see any holes in the flowers or buds. Usually a treatment lasts about 6 weeks or more, depending on the year. We carry this fantastic product at our Kaw Valley Garden Centers.
