Heuchera hybrid 'Glitter'
Home / Our Plants / Coral Bells, Alum Root
Details
Heuchera hybrid 'Glitter' displays bright silvery-white foliage with dark veins that is like no other Coral Bells. Rose-colored blooms begin in early spring. Coral Bells is a very textural plant adding interest to woodland gardens, shady landscapes, or containers. Low maintenance; deadheading not necessary as it won't keep them blooming longer, though removing the flower stems once the plant has finished blooming will keep the plants looking tidier. Deer resistant.
Growing Tips
If growing in pots, beware that the plant is less freeze-protected than when planted in the ground and may not survive over winter. There are several good articles online for how to overwinter perennials in containers. Google "How to Overwinter Container Perennials".
