  • Upright, spreading habit
  • Attracts butterflies
  • Drought tolerant, once established
  • Deer resistant

Details

An improved selection of Coreopsis rosea, 'Heaven's Gate' forms a low, bushy mound of ferny green foliage, bearing masses of daises with rich pink petals and a ruby-red eye, surrounding a tiny yellow center. Pink Coreopsis flowers in early summer and continues for weeks. Good drainage is required for winter survival. Plants may benefit from being cut back by half in mid to late June, to prevent flopping later in the season.
