Osteospermum, African Daisy

Osteospermum hybrid 'Orange Symphony'

  • Mounded habit
  • Attracts butterflies
  • Deer resistant

Details

Osteospermum hybrid 'Orange Symphony' produces brillliant orange, daisy-like flowers. African Daisy is excellent for early spring and fall plantings. This Osteospermum variety, though stunning in late spring and early summer, does not usually survive past late July because of the heat.

Growing Tips

Osteospermum hybrid 'Orange Symphony' does not need deadheading for continuous bloom. Plants will "bury their dead" (new flowers will quickly cover old flowers) so no deadheading necessary. One of the very few plants we carry that will not survive through the whole summer. The only reason we carry it is for it's stunning beauty that consumers demand.
