Kalanchoe thrysifolia

Common Name: Flapjacks

The fleshy, paddle-like leaves of Kalanchoe thrysifolia form rosettes that resemble the shape of a clamshell. Adaptable as a Houseplant, Flapjacks will bear clusters of fragrant tubular flowers in late winter-early spring. Outstanding in rock gardens. Garden height is the final height the plant will reach after a couple years (if brought inside for the winter), not the height the plant will reach in one season. Flapjacks is somewhat slow growing, will get about 2' in diameter with multiple super-thick branches after a few years when overwintered indoors.
