Common Name: Black-Eyed Susan

Rudbeckia hirta 'Denver Daisy' has big, deep gold flowers with a chocolate center ring around the cone that attract butterflies to the garden. An excellent cut flower, outstanding in the garden or wildflower plantings, Black-Eyed Susan is especially attractive planted with daylilies, asters and grasses.

Hardiness is still being determined. Great as an annual because it blooms non-stop all summer. It may be perennial or self-sow but because this is a new variety, information is not decisive yet so we are catergorizing it as an annual.
