The Edmunds Children

Kaw Valley places spring seasonal garden centers in parking lots across Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri.  Our stores are open April through June.

We started Kaw Valley Greenhouses in 1967 when Mom (Pat Edmunds) and Dad (Leon Edmunds) decided that our family of nine kids and a St. Bernard had outgrown our house in town.

We bought a little farm, "where the kids had room to run." It had an old greenhouse on the property. Mom saw an opportunity to use Dad's PhD in Plant Pathology and their ready-made workforce of nine!

After 40 years we are still a family company and beautiful success is still our #1 goal.
